Legacy Core™

Small Business Trust Credentialing

Trust should be verifiable.

Built for real small businesses, and the people who ask them to prove it.

Legacy Core gives small businesses a clear pathway to demonstrate their commitment to protecting customer information. A Trust Badge lets customers, partners, and others verify that commitment through the public registry.

The Trust Check is a self-reported starting point. It does not test your systems or issue a Trust Badge.

Real businesses. Real communities.

Built for real businesses. Built around trust.

Legacy Core was created for the businesses that customers trust with information every day, and for the communities, partners, and organizations helping those businesses take the next step.

Photos below are illustrative placeholders, not Legacy Core customers or events.

Everyday work

Readiness looks like normal business work.

Most owners are not looking for a cybersecurity dashboard. They want a clear path, plain language, and something customers can verify when it matters.

    The work

Readiness is ordinary desk work, written so an owner can follow it.

    The signal

A mark only helps when the record behind it can be checked.

The Trust Badge

A trust signal people can actually check.

The Legacy Core Trust Badge is connected to a public credential record. Customers, partners, and other stakeholders can verify a participating business's current credential status instead of relying only on a claim or logo.

What verification shows

A public status page lists the business, credential tier, issue and expiration dates, and whether the credential is current. It does not claim the business is free of security weaknesses.

How the pieces fit

Trust takes an ecosystem.

Legacy Core provides the credentialing and verification layer. Alliance Partners can support businesses with implementation and services when needed. The public registry makes the resulting credential visible and verifiable.

Not every business works with a partner. Alliance Partners do not issue Legacy Core credentials.

Inside credentialing

What the work looks like once you are in it.

Six missions cover the 15 required areas. A mission opens with a scene from a normal business day. You read it, see a careful response, and get a plain rule.

The screen here plays on its own. Nothing in it can be selected. It is not the Trust Audit, and it does not issue a Trust Badge.

Preview of the credentialing screen. Six missions cover 15 required areas. Sample scene: Urgent banking change. The careful response is to call the client on a number already on file. Rule: Never change banking or wire instructions from an email or text alone. Confirm with a known contact using a number or channel you already trust. This preview cannot be used and does not start an assessment.

How businesses earn one

Understand first. Credential when ready.

Start with the free Trust Audit if you want a diagnostic. Credentialing is a separate reviewed pathway.

Credentialing

Credentialing pathway

Turn documented readiness into a reviewed credential the business can show and others can verify.

  • Structured credentialing pathway
  • Required credentialing areas
  • Legacy Core review before issuance
  • Trust Badge only after requirements are met

You answer readiness questions. Legacy Core reviews them. A Trust Badge is issued only if the Bronze requirements are met.

Alliance Partners

Connected to businesses that can help you take the next step.

Legacy Core focuses on credentialing and verification. Alliance Partners can provide relevant services or implementation support when a business needs help beyond the credentialing layer.

Partners do not issue Legacy Core credentials. Working with a partner is optional.
